i'd think that the number of members displayed up top is from the database and that would be w/o deleted ones, of course, as they are, well... deleted... lol

I respecfully disagree, since the evidence is staring you in the face in all the sticked threads made by JBELL, CCW et al. They are "Guests", which means their accounts were deleted. If they were banned they would still be members in the vB database.

Am I the only one that is happy that there is such a thriving community here that i am a part of and that i can gain so much knowledge from?
