Want to tinker over the weekend so chime in ASAP....

First explanation of current stuff

PCP&C 510 deluxe, DFI infinity (Refurb) xp2600-m, 2x.5G OCZ pc3500 LLPT Sapphire 9800 pro, blah blah blah.

Now issues as I see them so far:
In genie bios I see both VDIMM and VDD lower than setting by a 'notch'
(.025 for vcore, .1 for VDIMM) vdimm isn't really an issue since I don't want to go much above 3.1-3.2 anyway (should get me about 240-245 FSB :D )

However under load, vcore shows movement at 1.9 of 1.824-1.888 :cussing:

If I could raise and / or stablilize this I would be happy and get more better operation.

Looking for opinions on which will get me most bang for buck b4 I start playing mad scientist . :explode:

Will just doing the vcore mod help alot or do I have to do the vdrop (more involved of course) mod or both?

Thanks

First thing to do will be to get your multimeter out and verify that there is a drop.

If you can try boosing your 5v and 3.3v lines, see if it helps at all.

Wheres a reliable measurement point?

I've been measuring at the choke, but is that a good point?

Vdimm and vdd are pretty much as I expected - just about right (slight overvoltage even:D )

But I don't know where to measure vcore.

Am I correct that vdrop is just the drop under load of same measurement or ???

You are correct on vdrop.
