He works @ a comptuer store, has a 2600+ oc'ed, and a 9700 oc'ed and says he has the #1 amd score. We'll see when he uploads the score. The computer is at work so I geuss he'll be uploading it tomorrow. We shall see.

Go to your friends house, borrow (without asking offcourse ;) ) that XP2600+ & R9700 (or only that xp2600+) and mail it to me
Then we'll see who's fastest.
No just kidding, but where did he get that XP2600+ is what I'm intersted in , if he realy has one it wouldn't be to difficult to be nr1

He works for a computer store (on the other side of the country) and they do so much business there they get processors and whatnot before it's out. He actually has 3 2600+ procs that AMD sent him... (that bastard). His boss has 2 and he got one. So in any case, we'll see tomorrow. :)

I'd love to see what kinda OC/cooling he's got on that 2600+...not to mention his 3dmarks :D

Which store does he work for!!?? I know companies that shift hundreds / thousands daily and they haven't been able to get hold of any :(

And I await AMD's Northeast Regional office for review samples which are supposed to be out this week. As a channel partner I have not been able to attain any to this point either. Will be great to see his scores:)

Randi:D when you get review samples Randi are you on a non discloure agreement..... if not looks like you are gonna get a nice increase to your 3d scores

I don't know what store he works for, but he has an AMD rep which gives him all sorts of goodies. I'm waiting for him to become active on AIM. He's currently on "idle for more than an hour" mode. When he gets back I'll be sure to ask.

NDA's apply to products which are not yet announced officially or for sale...whereas the 2400+ and 2600+ are officially announced and already reviewed by Tier 1 sites, there is no longer an NDA. But..in the case of the 2700+ and 2800+...NDA's would exist.;)
