radar detector/jammer?

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a nice radar detector/jammer. I don't need the jammer to absolutely jam everything, being that I generally drive 15-20 over, so if I just had a heads-up I could slow down to a reasonable speed quickly. Anyone have any suggestions? I am willing to spend quite a bit if it will make a difference, so post any you suggest, or have heard good things about.

I say go get the Valentine 1 aka V1, they're the best.

Yeah about 90% of everyone I got a response from (have this posted in xs and 3 car forums) said the v-1 is by far and away the best, and 9% said passport 8500 because it performed pretty well and was $100 cheaper, and 1% suggested something else.

Money isn't a worry for me being that 1 ticket will cost me atleast $2,000 in insurance increases, so $400 for the v-1 is nothing.

The only place I can find to buy them is from valentine for $399, so I think I am gonna order them next week.

Agree on the V1, though a lot of people will argue the Bel and the Passport get the job done for less money.
