Just got me an 1997 Acura Integra LS with 90k Miles on it for $2500. The guy just put new tires, rotors and brake pads last month. Car got clean title and everything runs smooth. Also, he's the original owner of the car so, this is good also.

Car is stock on everything except for the cd player which he put in a JVC, which doesn't matter.

Why is it so cheap you ask? He wanted to sell it because he got 2 other cars to pay insurance for, and this is his car to go to work. Car got mostly highway mileage.

Now, what is there that I need to check up about the car to make it last longer?

Pics below:
Don't worry about license plate, it's return to the RMV already and nobody can do anything to it.

Nice deal you got... If it's an auto have the transmission fluid and filter changed ASAP. If it's a manual trans get the gear oil changed and flush/bleed the master/slave cylinder for the clutch. A flush/bleed of the brake system might be a good idea too.
It might sound anal to flush the hydrolic systems but the fluids they use are hydroscopic and corrode the metals if used for a prolonged time. If you look in the manuals they actually suggest the fluids being flushed/changed every 12-24 months. Aside from that, get a good four wheel alignment and she should drive very well. Those Integra's have very good suspension geometry.
Again, NICE BUY ;)

You would be surprised by how many people never even think about transmission fluid or brake fluids.

I put an additional Transmission cooler on every AUTO Truck, car, SUV' i've owned in the last 15 years. Cheap insurance.

Good luck with it XyKo

Damn insurance just almost killed me, but I can handle it. One thing I hated the most is The RMV. They took the Book Value of the car and pu ttax on that price. They said something state laws.

And for the car, I think I need new speings/shocks. My brother told me that it's pretty hard and he can feel it. Anyone know how much it cost and which one to get?

Also for the transmission fluid, is the color pink or something? Also Poki, how much does it cost to do all those thing you mentions?

Yes, transmission fluid is pink when clean.

I would guess in the $50-70 area for the transmission service (not sure about labor on the brakes). If you look into struts/shocks they aren't cheap at all. I would say if it's not bouncing after hitting bumps your shocks are good, they will feel stiff hitting bumps and potholes when they are working properly.
