Thought some of you might like to see my first attempt at making a waterblock, well first time at making pretty much anything.

Your milling could use work lol, but the rest is top notch work! Well done man. :)

you kinda did the impingment cups wrong.

First, a few more would be good, as that's gonna absolutely murder your flowrate.

Second, you need to cut down the top part of the copper around the cups, as the water won't do so well coming back up out of those.

other than those two things, it's top noth though. Definatly a challenging block for a first time.

Looks good but a lil hard to insulate if your going to waterchill.

I didn't use a mill, i wish i could have! it was all done with a drill press and a dremel, #Rotor style to remove most of the copper. This was really just an experiment. I know there are several flaws with the design, such as there are no tubes that actually go into the cups which are pretty crucial for getting any performance in an impingement design.

As i say this was really just an experiment, thanks for the pointers + kind words and i hope to improve on it next time :)

My pump and tubing along with a few other bits should come today so i can get it tested and see how it performs.
