like the subject says im looking for some ocz ram that loves voltage
my OCZ PC 3500 LE craps out at 280.
I need something like OCZ PC 3700 or PC 4000 or even PC 4200 that would run 300 1:1 at cl 2,5 by giving it some voltage...
which one of those three could do that

The PC4200 EL will will get you closest to your goal. It likes volts and many have had much success with the higher FSB. As far as timings go, I am unaware of any RAM that will do CL 2.5 at those speeds. The performance at CL 3 is terrific.

You are doing very welll at the moment with the 3500 LE. What board are and CPU are you running?

I am using the Shuttle an50 and a A64 3400+ for my 3500 LE

I just got OCZ PC 4000
I am giving it 3,3v and set CL 2,5 4 4 7 it crashes at 260 1:1 :( Its definatly not the cpu, i turned it on 5:4 and the cpu would go alot further

my OCZ 4200EL can run at 300 FSB stable 2.5-4-4-7 but needs 3.2v.

also should be releaseing their 600Mhz DDR Ram (http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/editorial/display/cebit2004-4.html) soon.

Hey eMandM,

Back off on the cas setting. Use 3-4-4-8; you won't notice much if any difference and you shouldl get some xtra "free" mhz and more bandwidth out of the ram.

After all it's PC4000 =250mhz!

Good luck

Shuttle an50r + PC 4000 wont even boot at CL 3-4-4-8, kinda dissapointed of this product thinking of returning it, I still got my LE tho :)

strange then.. i think AN50R is pretty picky, my 256MB ADATA PC4000 wouldn't even boot on AN50R @ 200mhz 3-4-4-8 at 2.6-2.9v! but OCZ PC4400 and Hynix PC3200 D43 both are fine and boot

also RootX has OCZ PC4000 Gold on his modded AN50R too http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthread.php?p=19549#post19549
