1st post here :D

This is the deal .. i have a 2.4b and a IT7. And the vcore goes down naturali by 0.3volts, seems normal on this board for what i've heard. 1.7v in the bios equals 1.67v.

When i go to full load, prime or other program, the vcore goes down, i mean if it is stable at 1.75v, goes down to 1.71,1.70v. This means a very high fluctuation of the vcore. My +12 and +5v are normal 5.05 and 12.05 at full load. I have a Enermax 365.

Could this fluctuation, be solved with something like a Antec 430w?

Thanks! ;)

That's pretty normal.
My IT7 undervolts too, just like yours. Seems like all the Intel boards do that.
Your PSU is OK, as are your +5 an +12V readings.
Don't worry to much about it.

BTW : welcome to the forums.

no way, that's not normal in all intel motherboards, in the Asus P4T533-C that never happened to me!

In my Abit TH7-2 that used to happen, but it wasn't that high, more like in bios 1.85v, in MBM 1.80v and in full load it never went lesser then 1.78v...

it's normal on most Intel boards.
Had it with the 4bda2+, TH7 II Raid and now the IT7. You'll always have some voltages fluctuations, same as on AMD systems.
The TH7 II gave me the worst changes, up to 0.1V less than that I choose in the BIOS

I have the TH7II and the 4BDA2+ and get the flucuation on both mobo,s.

Well, i bought the Antec 480W PSU .. and now it seems to fluctuate less 0.1~0.2 .. so i think i've made a good choice. The Enermax was a bit old already, and this makes less noise then the Enermax.

Thanks for the replys!

Hmm my Vcore seems to be higher in Asus Probe(new version not the 40C bugged one.) 1.550V in bios and 1.538-1.638V in Asus probe but usually stays at 1.6V(lowered it lol since I guess adding case fans dropped temps enough to do so)
