Irrespective of any differences or similarities in architecture, we are willing to state clearly that R420 will beat NV40.
That's taken from an interview with Richard Huddy, ATi's European Relations Manager in the March issue of PC Format.
So if NV40 is capable of 36k 3DMark2001 scores :rolleyes:, what the hell is R420 going to churn out?

Again!! You all think still that your going to see a 22k 9800xt and fx51 stock jump to 36k??
LMFAO get a clue here people I know your all smart overclockers :), but come on you cant start at where OPP/Macci left off with there setups and call that the base of where the new scores will start + some..
now your all starting to sound like MR. TI4200, lol :)

Alright, I can't wait for another round of $800 video cards :rolleyes:
Hopefully the ati and nvidia cards come out about the same time to keep the price down a bit.

Well if this is all about sarcasim then why does everyone of the same people keep posting threads and replies about this 36k stock scorage??
I can dish up three other threads on the matter so if it is in fact sarcasim its pointless information and the amount of spam threads on this subject IMO should be sliced down :)

Usually those threads have been corrupted by some virus that is identified by the alias "Geforce4ti4200"

LOl he stated since 754/940 that 35k would be broken now Im so sick of seeing these quoted scores I just want it to be left alone so when we see the real benchmarks we will be happy at what we get :)
