I was thinking of watercooling my R9700 is there any companys making waterblocks for them (i read that people had problems using GF4 ones..) also any chance of cooling the memory and northbridge while im at it? I currently am waiting for my Vapo MK2 PE to get here (26th i hope!!) and would like some thing that can sit at the bottom front of that.
Any info/ideas?

BTW this would be my first experiment with water so please explain stuff :D

P.S with stock air cooling on a P3 733 system with 200w PSU i can get max 385 core and 350 ram (but i been running at 350/350 so it does not get too hot)

There are not so large room in the Vapochill.

You can use an old vapochill, (they might be on sale, now the new Vapo2 are here) it fits if you only use 2 HDD
under the floppy. !!! It cool the Radeon to -17, you have to mount at plate on the coppercore, so you don't break the radeonchip (like an AMD chip)

The Radeon 9700 pro have only 2 mounting holes, and they are not the same, as 4 on GF4.

There are some komponent around the ram, that "stiks up", you can mount a cobberplate, and then a larger alucooling profile on the top. I am experimenting with 8 small peltier on the ram. In that case it is convinient, that the ram are sitting on both side.

Best OC regards
