I am looking to buy an IT7 Max2 to run a 2.26P4 but because I have vapochill I need to know if you can run more than 1.7 volts in the bios.
I was on Abit's site the other day and I saw a screen of the bios showing 1.85 Vcore for the Max2 but I have read on Hexus.net that 1.7 is the max.

As an alternative is the Albatron PX845E Pro II any good as I know this doesn't undervolt like the max2.

Does anyone know of any issues that this board has running a Radeon 9700i when overclocking??????????

Thanx Matty

I think that 1.85V will only be available if you wiretrick the cpu, so I think that 1.85V is max, like the IT7. I might be mistaken though.
I tried a Powercolor 9700 this weekend and had no probs running the card at oc speeds.

My only problem with the IT7 and the R9700 is the AGP/PCI reachable compared to the GF4.

Does the IT7 Max2 undervolt like a :banana::banana::banana::banana: like the original It7? Cos a mate wants to buy my IT7 and ill sell if the max2 is better on voltages...:)

OPP and FUGGER, my card wont even *post* if I put the ratio at 44/88 and have to use 37/74. Even with Ext/4 which gives me 42/84 or something wont even work.....:(

I read high agp/pci with this card will fry it?

Disappointing considering I could run my old ti4200 at 57/114 :(
