I'm making a water chiller out of an old freezer and have a few alterations i'd like to make.
The evap coil at the moment is much bigger than i'd like, 475mm square, so 'd like to bend in to reduce the size by half. The problem is that the evap appears to be steel so I was wondering if a pipebender would be upto this. Without spending £100's on one. BTW i'm in the UK.
Also i've read that some people use vaseline instead of dielectric grease, has anybody tryed this? Does it work and is it safe?
Many thanks
