Hi, I have a soyo dragon plus mb and i'm ganna do the mod that allows me to use amd thoroughbred cpu. I got the one that was released before they fixed it to allow that.. Anyway, it involves removing a cap at location c130 and putting one in at location elc28. The type of cap you need to install is a 1500mfd-10volt cap (http://www.digi-key.com part# P10228-ND). Before I do it, I was wondering if it would be better/ok to get a higher mfd/volt cap... Specially the voltage part...

Just get a low ESR cap and you will be fine. 200-500mfd over 1500mfd should be fine, too, and the cap can only output as much as it is fed, so voltage shouldnt matter too much either.. but to be on the safe side just stick with 10v ;)

Thats about the extent of my capacitor knowledge anyways.. anyone else want to confirm?
