Okay, I don't know what the heck is going on here but it's REALLY frusterating and I would REALLY appreciate some help on this! :(
Here's some pictures of the vile error.

This is on a Maxtor harddrive 160GB ATA/133 split into 2 75GB partitions.
I have booted up with the XP disc, and chose 'install onto this partition (the partition being C:) and chose 'Format with File system NTFS' in the choice menu.
Then it proceeded to format and was done in about 1/2 hour. It then copied the nescessary files over to begin the installation. After it does that, it says 'Your computer is going to reboot in 15 seconds, press enter to reboot' So I hit enter, it then reboots and loads from the CD again and after about 10 seconds comes up with the first error box you see in the first picture. Then after I click 'ok' it shows the second picture, the log.
Now the funny thing is, I can install 2000 Pro on just fine, it does all this just fine. I can install 2000pro then 'upgrade' to XP pro but I would much rather do a fresh install.
I am at my whits end, I have no idea what could be causing this problem, can you guys PLEASE help me! I'm begging here!
