Hi, I can't find any 12v mod for Enermax, please help me.

If it's got a sense line, like how the 3.3v line has it, then you can do it.

If not, then you'll be stuck, just like me, having my 460w Enermax's 12v at 11.49v-11.55 volts while trying to keep a Vapo PE, 3Ghz@4Ghz CPU, WC, 9800pro, blah, blah, blah stable while trying to OC it....

At least when I measure it with a DMM, my 12v line says 12.1v whilst under load....MBM5 says it's 11.4ish volts...

Gotta get me the Antec 550w TP PSU again, at least I could mod all 3 rails....

My 460w Enermax is good w/out mods, 3.3v @ 3.4v-3.5v, 5 @ 5.15v, 12v @ 12.15v w/out loads... Not that good to mod, the newer ones anyways.

If yours has the extra sense wires hanging out of your 5v & 12v rails, you can just follow the Antec 3.3 vsense mod or pc ice's new way to mod the 3.3v line....

Cheers,

Where's the voltage read point for 3,3/5/12v rail ?

Be careful doing that mod! I had the +3.3v mod on my Enermax 465w and my 12v and 5v rails were a tad low. I got anal about it and i wanted to vmod them and came across this (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28023&perpage=25&pagenumber=4). Went ahead and followed VoRtAn_MaDgE's guide to do it and my psu went dead on me

Be advised it's risky!

Just stick the ground of your DMM to your case or something that's grounded, then check your rails through the 20pin ATX connector or through the molex's yellow & red wires (12 & 5 rails).

That's what I do, check my 3.3v rail through 20 pin ATX & 12v & 5v rails through molex's.

As for that Enermax 5v, 12v mod, I think I'll pass on that one since I'm getting another Antec 550w TP ASAP to replace my dearly missed one....

Bummer that it's a hard mod & there's not much feedback/ppl who've done the mod yet. I'm having stability troubles getting my "new" 3Ghz to run more than 275fsb, 2 instances of Prime95 plus 3DMark01....

Everything goes okay although MBM reports my 12v line as dipping to 11.45v when I'm running 2xPrime95 but as soon as I try 3DMark01, it just reboots on me.

If I don't try out 3DMark01 while running 2xPrime95, it'll run forever (read: 4 hours +) w/out fail.

Tried 278fsb & it's okay but yeah, the 12v line plays around alot. Okay to run some 3D01 benchies but prime95 & 3D01 restarts my rig :(

The enermax 5/12 mod uses R68, not R73...
