View Full Version : HELPPPP!! vmem is 3.1v in nf7-s 2.0 always!

My abit nf7-s 2,0 is presenting vmem it in 3.1v independent of how much i places in the bios... anybody knows what it is happening? I am with last bios and use 1 512 x ocz 3700EL!

Did you do a vdimm mod on the board?

BTW, 3.1 v won't harm your memory, in case you were concerned!

noo.. this mobo dont have mod...
when i burn pc with prime vmem down to 2,8v ( correct voltage that a select in bios ) !! heheheh!! HELLPPP!!

Have you reset your BIOS yet? I doubt it will solve the problem but it's worth a shot.

Other than that, the controller for Vdimm may have stopped working. I had it happen on a refurb'd 8RDA I bought from NewEgg.com. I didn't feel like sending it back so I just by-passed the controller and sent 3.2v directly to the memory.

Like gnode said, 3.1v shouldn't hurt your memory... in fact most people would love having that. ;)

hehehheheheheheh!! really Jeff! but when i full load prime95 the vmem down to vmem that i put in bios... this vmem 3.1v not is stable!! :(
When system idle the vmem is always 3.1v... full load down for the same one that i place in bios..

j0 should just make a vmem mod and set it at 3.1-3.2v ^^
