Here are my two links worth:

http://www.crazypc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=120199&Product_Code=5930

And

http://www.dangerden.com/mall/Pelts/neoprene.asp

If you have some insulation and you are not sure if it will work try blowing thru it. If you can blow thru the insulation it is not the closed cell type, do not use it. If you can not blow thru it then it should work fine.

I hope this helps.

Look for kingfrost or armaflex pipewrap insulation. Its on a roll and like an inch and a half wide. Its supposed to stick but it doesent work to well on square blocks :p: Works like a charm on my NB block I'm gona use on my GPU tho.

I had a MUCH easier time working with this than I did neoprene. I could easily mold it around the socket and mounting holes and create an airtight seal when the block pushed down. I wraped the block witth 2 layers and electrical taped it on and it was good at -18C other than the corners which I taped down to hard. I'd say 5 loose layers of this stuff would be good for -40C or lower.

I'll get you pics of the socket and block when I get home from the mall.

I have kind of "invented" a easyer way to insulate my board, and i dont need to insulate my block. I only need some good insulation "paper".

Do you just use dielectric grease on top of that cpu.
Or do you have a small foam layer

also have you eva tried using a tec with your chiller

Its dielectric greese ontop of the CPU.
I dont have any TECs or TEC PSUs or blocks for them or coldplates :p:

Dtek TC4. The stock barbs blow and I never changed them so I needed hose clamps which complicated things. Next reinsulation will be much better.

The hard part will be getting a metal Y split for the WW.
