ok xtremers,
heres what i want to do... (or get someone to do for me)
put a mod chip in for the playing of backups (dvds/games)
add a 160gb hd in
i want it to be able to copy the games onto the hard drive(with hddloader i am told)
have menu for games that are copied so i can select which one i want to play.
is it possble to do?
i know a guy off the internet from a guy i just traded with that says he can. for $110 if i supply the hard drive or $210 if he buys one.

did you ever get these mods done trueplaya4ever8? I am looking to do similar mods myself. I have friends that will do it for me for free, but I won't see them until we get home from school in a few weeks, and I am sure I could figure it out...I hope :toast:

Not all that difficult, plenty of guides around the scene, only thing I would suggest is to stay away from the solderless mods, while they do work, they can be a pain in the behind.... Solder it in and be done with it..

Seen the Halo Special edition xbox. Transparent green, like that earlier blue one. Problem is that RF shield. Blocks the pretty view of the insides. Basically it's $50. more than a pre-owned/refurb. Would look interesting with a total UV job done right inside. Wouldn't be FCC-b anymore either. :p: Maybe someone will eventually return one, then I could buy it pre-owned, mod it, UV it, sell it , loaded with linux of course ;) Gonna go get some new swim suits for my doax girls...:cool:

EB stores, Gamestops (Software Etc, Babbages, Planet X) have used and/or refurb, about $120. Used usually means take your chance it was abused by some kids...good luck.

well im just waiting for my crystal case to arrive, everythings about to get ported into that, im going to have to decided asto whether to stick to the green and do a direct port into the new case or go bloooo.
that pics a pretty bad one tbh heh, you really do need to see it in real life. ill take some better pics of the box as soon as the new case arrives :D :D
also any ideas gamecube paintjob wise (i know its the xbox forum lol)
