Power Options

My personal preference is not to use a screen saver and I don't like my system going into hibernate mode. I like for my screen to stay on but on one of my systems it goes black after 20 minutes then I have to bump the mouse and log back in (I have XP Home). I've gone through the settings in an attempt to stop this but it keeps doing it. My other system doesn't do it. I don't know what I did differently. Any ideas?

In xp there are 2 stops to make first choose screensaver=none, Second in same area go to power options and you will see it is set for 20 mins set it to never.

I've done those 2 things. Still goes black after 20 unmolested minutes. Don't make sense.

Well, I had the 3 settings at 5 hours. I changed them to never. Still, it should have stayed on longer than 20 minutes. Thanks.

You have no screen saver selected and ALL the power management turned off, and it still does that? Check in the bios for power management. There's an option to turn APM off there also.
