What's a good multimeter to get? I want one with temp settings. Also i've seen what looks like other pluggins on various other meters (item circiled in second link). What exactly is it?

I've looked at these ones so far:

i've got a Fluke model 111 that is really nice. it's got an auto-ranging feature so you aren't switching between different voltage ranges. i believe the model 112 has temperature measurement as well.

How much are we talking about for one of those bad boys?

$29.99USD for each.

Here's another one:

This particular is only $17.99USD this too only goes to -20C.

ok, we're talking about TOTALLY different price ranges. don't look at Fluke unless you've got $100+ to spend.

What's so great about the Fluke line on meters? And what should I be looking for when buying a mm?
