i'm new to this so just wont to say hi first :D
second of all i just run 3dmark and got 12008.
my pc spec is:
xp2000 @ 1812
256mb crucial pc2100 ddr
gf4 ti4600 @ 331/740
epox 8kha+ ddr
is this score about right for my spec?

Nice setup, TrUz and welcome to Xtreme. That is a good start, but I think you should be in the 13-13.5k range, maybe in the 14k with some proper tweaks and a little work. What OS are you using? Any special cooling for the system? Give us a little more detail like what drivers you are using and we can help you knock out a few more points.
I'm running winXP - SP1
dets 40.41
latest via 4-in-1 drivers
no extreme coolin on cpu or gpu.
stock cooler on gfx card
thermalright sk6 with 60mm delta on cpu.
tried several tweaks, but tbh not to sure about alot of stuff :)
seen peeps with slightly slower cpu and a ti2200 clocked to slightly lower spec than mine stock get higher score.
i think i should be in 13k range as well but not sure what im doin wrong. :)
if i could hit 14k with this setup i would be a very happy man :D

Windows 2k is good for AMD rig. Also what FSB are you running? Try to use the highest FSB possible (mempry limit). Your chip needs to be unlocked to do this. Umm there is also a 3DMark tweaking guide in this section of the forum check it out.

my fsb is 144.
i can unlock my chip yet as i dont have the kit, but will pick the stuff up on monday.
i went through and done a few things on the guide, also followed gibbo's guide but gave little improvement :/

ok followed mackanz guild and gained over 200 points!
only bit i didnt do was change priority to real time, how much difference would this make?
also didnt change much in rivatuner as im not sure, if someone could help me out in rivatuner maybe i could get near 13k?

i used 40.41 dets with via 4.38 drivers, would latest dets run better?
Hello, and welcome to Xtreme.
The 40.41's are the latest det's to my knowledge, and you actually might get a small gain by downgrading from the 4.38 to the 4.37 4in1's :)
And Chong is right about Win2k...it will gain you quite a few points over WinXP ;)
