Yea I finally hooked up the maze3 to my cpu and its working!.

This is my setup

Kx7333R
Maze 3
Athlon XP 1800+ @ 1800 2.14 vcore
Heatercore with 1 enermax and 1 antec fan blowing about 40 cfm.
No shroud
Eheim 1250
Tygon tubing with water wetter, I think i put to much.

My temps are almost 50c on load ambient is 26c. System temp reading is about 36c which I think is incorrect since the panels are off it should be room temp in my case.

Temperatures taken with the probe under the cpu.

Are my temps correct? Should I be getting lower?

Should i build a shroud and get a 120mm fan on it?

Are there anyway to improve my temps?

First off, welcome to the Xtreme!~!

Next, That does sound a lil high for the setup you have there. Have you checked to make sure there are no bubbles in the lines? or that its making good contact with the die?
Shrouds can make a pretty big difference in cooling, adds in so much air thats not going through the system.
I wouldnt worry if you added to much WW. Shouldnt hurt anything. It prolly wouldnt hurt to get a larger fan for it either. But I would seriouslly get a shroud at minimus.

Well, once again, Welcome to the Xtreme, and maybe yea oughta check out our F@H (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=55) and maybe give us a hand?! :D

Luck and let us know how it goes for yea, the first watering is always the most exhilarating is it not?!!

Holy fook.. 40CFM is not gonna cut it man. DEFFINITELY put a 120mm on it. Hell, put 2 120mm on it! That is why your temps are high.

I agree with sys, not enough air flow. Stick a 120mm on it and see if it doesn,t drop that temp. Keep us posted. And Welcome to the Forum.:)

Will 2 L1as do the job with shrouds?

yes if those L1A's are 120mm fans!
