I have a question.
I have 2 80 gig 7200rpm 8mb cache on a Via Raid controller in Raid 0 Stripe mode and my stripes are 16k in size.
If I were to partition these 2 drives after raiding them, will it be slower because of the overhead caused by partitioning? What are your opinions?
