Isn't the AK35 board awesome? While waiting for this board. I read somewhere else they already have the AK37 ready!

It's driving me crazy!

Here is the link for the 37:

Yes, the AK37GT/R is based on the new KT333 chipset to be announced for release on Feb. 05 or so followed by the KT333A with USB 2.0 and AGP 8X.

It seems the FSB on the KT333 will be 266 and the memory can be run at 333Mhz. This reminds me of the KT133 and KT133A which was almost the exact same situation.

After my AK35GTR purchase in the next several weeks, I will wait until the KT333A is released which might be AK37GTRv2.0?

I got my student loan check 2 weeks ago. I want to get a new setup so bad, but I'm willing to wait though!

The best part, it will be listed around $100.

Not bad at all. I might have to wait a bit then. Thanks for the info.

AnandTech did a review on the board for their KT266A roundup and it takes home an award from them!

The AK35GTR is listed at NewEgg for $129.00 but no listing for the AK35GT. Availability seems to be 01/25/02.

One thing about these extremely high voltages, watercooling or an 80mm heatsink and fan combination is a must. I know the Swiftech MCX462 fits without modification but the Alpha 8045 needs a 5 minute modfication on one of it's corners to fit correctly.

Got the board this weekend from MWave and all I can say is that it ROX!. The highpoint Raid controller is faster compared to my Promise Raid controller. The Vcore adjustments work all the way to 2.3V. Sandra TE memory scores are 810/990 with FSB @ 133Mhz. All I can say is I saved $50 with this board instead of getting the KR7A-Raid and also Vcore up to 2.3V!

I miss Shuttle motherboards in general. Cheap and overclockable, they were kinda like what Biostar is today, except their bioses didn't suck.
