yep
retreiver/Lab mix - 4 month old girl was abonded and my mother saved her and gave it to me...
now only if I could sleep!
Congrats! That is awesome in two ways!
First, your mom saving the the pup.
Second, you get to have a puppy! They are so cool! All they want to do if play!

Kewl, I used to have a :banana::banana::banana::banana:erspaniel but she died. I still have her dogtag on my keychain too. I loved that dog.
Now I olny have a skitzo cat.:)

at first I named her malibu - after the car cuase my family has a deep history with GM
then i thought that was too much liek a stripper name and I am a truck guy
so I renamed her seirra

Dogs are great! I have a Black Lab and she is the cutest thing in the world! She was given to me by a "Exotic Dancer" because she had to be on the road so much and could not adequately take care of her. BTW, the dog's name is Harlequinn and she does not dance for $. :p
