How to volt-mod 5v rail for just ONE molex?

Antec TruePower 550W PSU here.

I want to increase my Radeon 9800 Pro's overclockability, or at least try to by the last means - volt-modding the 5v rail (thats what GPU uses, right?).

I don't want to change the entire 5v rail for the WHOLE PSU, but just ONE molex connector!

I heard its quite possible...

I might have some varible resistors (10K, 20K, and 50K) left, but not sure. I DO have a LOT (500) of fixed resistors of apretty much ANY kind!

What would be the max good 5v rail (that won't cause problems, and help a little) - 5.75v?

Is there a guide of how to accomplish this?

Hmm....so, guys, could someone SPECIFICALLY tell me how to increase the 5V rail ONLY using these variable resistors: 10K ohm, 20K ohm, and 50K ohm, and then pretty much ANY FIXED resistor you can think of (I think I got all kind up to like 2.5M or something).

I think 5.50-5.75v would be the max I need. I do not want to kill anything.

I still don't know the formula for figuring out the resistance and voltage that results in the end using resistors...

Yeah, I did a 9700 Pro votl-mods, it worked, so you can say I sort of experienced a LITTLE on what I am doing...

I just got a report that increasing 5V to 5.50V can kill something...or WOULD kill something...

Hmm...maybe it was for Antec TruePower PSUs ONLY that that mod worked and did not require anything more than sticking a few resistors between a few wires...

aslong as you dont go over 5% increase on the default 5v you wont kill anything
