Removing wires from PSU

I have an Enermax 365w power supply. It has a plug on it that I never use. It's got 3 black, 2 orange and 1 red wire on it. It's a plug that I've never seen on any P4 or Athlon XP board. Does anyone know if it's possible to remove this plug for the PSU and have it still operate? I'll dig up a picture and highlight the plug.

If its the AUX plug your talkin about i took it off my enermax and it worked fine. Just make sure you cap the ends of the wires so not to wort anything out.
