Hi

I have my computer on 24/7 and i wonder how safe it is to run Vcore at 2.05V all the time? Temps get very high, around 48-49C at full load and a little less at idle. Thats quite an increase from the default Vcore temps.

I mean will the CPU hold weeks, months if it runs with this Vcore 24/7..... ??

EDIT: oops forgot to mention it is a XP 1700+ Palo :p

No matter dude ...
I got mine running 24/7 too @ 2.05v

Idle is around 40C btw ... full load is around the 47-50, depending on the room tempz etc.

The only thing that will happen is that you're CPU won't last for 100 years, but maybe 50 :p

For the amount of time that these processors are actually up to date, I doubt it will hurt anything. If you're running stable at that. More than likely you'll be upgrading in two to three years anyways, if you're like the rest of us, it'll be more like a few months.... ;)
