View Full Version : Best Logitech Dual Optical sniper mouse pad?

Right now I'm using a 5$ allsop mouse pad. It's ok I guess, not so good for sniping. Any recommendations on a good mousepad?

The rat-padz was a great pad. But on my Logitech Dual Optical, it slides too much. It's accurate, that I can give it. But the mouse sticks and slides.

get some teflon for the bottom of your mouse, i have someone who works with teflon make some extremely thin slightly round peices of teflon that i just glued on top of the regular pads and this thing is SMOOOOTH!

Yup yup, then you can hold an 80mm fan close to it and slide the mouse off the pad without touching it. shcweet stuff.

teflon...
how strong is that stuff?
aside from the fact that it has extemely low friction, and withstands crazy -/+ temperatures, what are other properties of it?
what material can i compare it to?

if i make a mousepad out of a solid teflon sheet,
how good will it work with optical mice?
what are the considerations when choosing a surface for an optical mouse?
color, gloss, texture, etc...?
