Can i solder a 21k or 22k resistor between pin7 on the Vcore regulator and ground instead of a 50k potentiometer ?
Otherwise what resistor is to prefer ?

Yes, you can ...
It will give you +0.2V so when you set 1.85V in BIOS your vCore will be ~ 2.05 ...

Where is this vcore regulator on this board? What will it look like?
It's the HIP6301 IC just above the AGP slot.
