has anyone here ever switched from a pelt system to chilled water? running chilled water on my cpu block and load temps are about 7c. running the same chilled water on a my gpu block which has a 172 watt 24volt pelt at 20 volts. temps on it at load are about 27c was thinking about scrapping the pelt setup in favor of just chilled water but was curious if anyone else has switched and what their results were. thanks for any comments.

well if anyone is interested i went from a mcw50-t pelt setup to just chilled water on an mcw50 and temps went even higher so the pelt is better. anyone need an mcw50 as i wont be using it.(lol)

id love to have one but i live in germany and am i poor student ^^

i prefer chilled water over tec cooling, if the tec fails you still have normal water cooling the gpu/cpu/nb and dont risk killing it. if you insulate the hoses well enough it will almost cool the same.

i tried the mcw50 and my temps were through the roof but the 50-t pelt stays where i need it. got to #13 on 3d03 hof and i think i can get way more with this pelt till i switch to vapor.
