Xoxide always charges 4-6 bucks for shipping tho, so you would end up paying 20 for it anyway.

You can get it from newegg for the same price :)

Shipping was $4.20 at xoxide. So at xoxide its 18.20 and newegg is 25 shipped.

I found out the wholesale cost of these which was just recently lowered to $11.50. A source mentioned that Arctic Cooling is not pleased that Xoxide is selling these for $13.99 :slapass:

Doh I forgot that NewEgg doesn't give free shipping on all items, just noticed its $5 to ship that thing

The Silencer VGA cooler doesn't looke like its 'amazing brand spanking new technology' its just a FX 5800 cooler with a lower RPM fan :)

I still like it tho, looks really cool :p:

I ordered 5 of them. Shipping was only $7.62 total on them. Newegg is fine but they never give you a great deal on shippnig!!!

Total for 5 in my cart shipped @ Xoxide is $77.57

total for 5 @ newegg is $119.05

I've got over 250 orders from newegg and spent over $35k with them. So i still love the egg.

But money's money.

works just as good as any alum cpu cooler, not quit as good as a big copper cooler tho, BUT for 20 bucks, and u dont have to drill / dremel.. its worht it.. for customers / freinds this is what i use on them, works as a small exhaust fan as well btw.

i heard rumers they were going to make a copper one

It was supposed to be a copper/Aluminum Hybrid for the XT series, Magnus from Arctic Cooling told me this, I suspect they put off this idea until the next generation of cards come out due to the popularity and performance of the Aluminum version.
