And No.2 isn't even a genuine score. No. 3 should be No. 2 and it's done with LN2 on both the cpu and vga. And OPP's got some more to go. This shows the lead the 9700 has over Ti4600.

OPP, first and foremost, congrats for breaking 20k. Secondly, to get those last points, was it a matter of clock speeds? Or did you do some tweaking?

Been at it since 8:30am this morning non-stop. vGPU mod tomorrow, possibly ramsinks too though I wanted to wait and get some tweakmonster copper thingys. See what difference they make. Definitely not doing the vmem until I get some form of ramink on though. Could fry eggs on those damn things as is now.
Anyway, not a whole lot more to come, but definitely a little. Ive done absolutely no windows tweaks at all. All thats changed is everything to lowest detail/highest performance in driver options and nature test run first (for what its worth).
Just posted up another thread with my final scores for the day, hadnt noticed itd been mentioned in here :). Sorry for the spotlight hugging :).
Anyone tried fiddling with the windows gfx acceleration slider yet? The r8500 got better clocks with it down 2 notches. May be worth a look in tomorrow. Bigtoe has also told me that hes getting some favourable results from running 32mb AGP aperture size too.
DD - remember the old r8500 full vmem mod? It had a dual stage controller, one for Vtt and one for Vddr. Adjusting one without the other didnt do much, but both together brought about substantial gains. Check here (http://www.xbitlabs.com/video/radeon8500-overclocking/) to see what i mean. Is it possible the R9700 is the same?
