Need help MSI K8T Master2 BIOS MOD

I just need a little help on my bios, ive been messing it up, in the hidden options but what i want to learn is were am i supose to mod for chagging the vcore and vdimm settings.

Theres no bios mod for my Motherboard and im trying to be the first, and share.

Ive tryed to do that. In early opened threads, as you can see.

Some times i cant explain very well because my English sucks.


What im asking is if anyone would like to help me out on my Mobo, the MSI K8T Master2, since Opterons are locked ive been tryng to find or make a Vmod or even Change the bios.

About the bios i dont know where am i suppose to find the Vcore and Vlink and Vdimm all in the middle of all those Hex numebers.

You could try to post some pics of the card and then we could take it from there....but I must admit after hearing all that sh*t that you've said...I dont really feel like helping you...be polite and it will be alot easier to get answers from this forum

i have newer modding tools for award bios... it is easier to use compare to my first version

u cant use modbin in winxp..... use Tmod cbrom v3.6.... u just need a floppy disk to use it

emmm... if u mod en code bin file... make sure u just enable the hidden stuff... in case modbin crash (exp: AN7bios,...)

if u can see this icon usually look like smiley face in hiew... check it code... it should be 01... that mean it is hidden.... change it to 00 u will unhidden that option..

Well I can kind of see where you are coming from, but I don't think that this section has too many visits so getting the right person/response may take some time.

I fit into the "wrong person" catagory. Never messed with BIOS before, but I would be very much interested in finding out it it is possible to mod a BIOS for Vcore. Well, it must be as different BIOS'es allow different vcore levels. Might work better than hardmodding for higher voltages in some cases.

Hey tictac, can you do this?? Does your(?), BIOS editing tool allow for this with any Award BIOS regardless of mobo/chipset? Or is it for NF2 only?

Can I change the voltage here somehow?

scroll down more...that just the biggining of the file... try find text showing the vdimm.... :toast:

that is Abit IC7 Max 3 hidden Vdimm option... and not all board have this hidden option... some they hidden maybe due to hardware limitation/over space

Well one thing is I can't get it to extract as the same size 512k ROM. It extracts to _EN_CODE.BIN as only 26K?

I did find the Vcore and DDR values bu7t no 01 hidden values. Can I just change the binary?

For instance my BIOS set v DDR with three over "Normal" settings.

- +0.1 = 31

- +0.2 = 32

- +0.3 = 33

So can I just go like this


+0.5 = 3.5 and so on?

I think this is wrong and will only change the text shown in BIOS. There must be some corresponding HEX for the correct setting, and maybe the hardware will not even support it.

yes u can try... it safe... but not 100% working... i tried changging on NF7S bios value... no effect on vddim n vdd... but yes.. its working on vcore and multiplier

Im asking because i got allot, e mean ALLOT of SMILLIEs.

Well about the smillies i have done all the 01 to 00, can anyone see my _EN_CODE.bin file??? to see where is the Voltage, still cant find out were is it since the AMD Opteron Multiplier are locked (dont know how).

i think u misunderstod me... dont change all the 01 code to 00 code except the 1 that u know

which is vdd, vdimm, vcore, multiplier, n others bios option

n dont mess up with 01 code that come with unknown command line.. u will corrupt ur bios if flash it
