Quick wire question

Right, I just recently modded my PSU, and due to my rather poor selection of wiring, just used some stuff I had lying around, it's pretty cheap, no idea what gauge it is, but it's a tad thinner than the wires that were in the PSU.

Was this a bad idea, and should I replace it, if so, what should I pick up to replace it with?

what exactly did u mod? the sense lines? well... if the wires u used were thinner than the sense lines, them you would probably want a thicker gauge

Yeah, it was the mods in pc_ice's thread here on XS, cheers for the reply, I'll see if I can get hold of some better wire.

Actually, now that I think, I have a spare extension cable for a PSU connector, one of the ones to extend a molex, I would imagine that would be sturdy enough, what do you reckon?
