Prices are gettin better and better...now that 128Gb die packages are in full production (in both 19 and 20nm I think) they'll keep dropping and continue to do so...Tosh just announced 15nm today too and from what I understand they are still rated at 3,000 p/e cycles. I remember paying a lil over $200 for a 50GB Vertex 2 when they came out...fkn insane I tell ya! Still runnin' strong tho! :P

I like the way SSD prices are falling. 512GB SSD $179 and 480GB SSD $149 :O

SSD prices have been falling here in Oz too, its taken long enough

And to think I paid $85AU for my very first solid state storage...................128MB USB drive :eek:

LOL. Yeah it is amazing. Now you can get $240GB SSD for $60 from the link above, which IMO is great.
