hello guys

1: Is it posible to hit 5ghz with a 1/5 compressor ? (4770k 24/7 stable under full load)

2: What do you guys think is gonna bring a better OC (CPU) results: a 1/5 compressor OR a top water cooling solution ??

Im not an expert (just an amateur) but I think that 1/5 HP maybe is not too much. 5 ghz is capable ans CPU temp would like 10?C - 15C I supppose. I would prefer the single stage, but if you are aiming for cooling the GPU, and other saswell, then water is the solution, but take in mind that with water you wont achieve good temp mainly because of the low quiality TIM between 4770K Die and IHS unless you do the Mod.... but that is at your own risk

If 5ghz is realy possible i would also like to know what will be the cpu temps on each solution under load
so if you guys had to choose only one option what would it be ???

What you are asking for changes based on the weather, the day, the unit, the charge, the processor, EVERYTHING.
Therefore there is no answer.

OK but if you had to choose between an SS based on 1/5 compressor or watercooling
what will be your choice ? ?

you can get better clocks with compressor then watercooling setup.

what is the exact type of compressor you are using? then we can give you more detailed information about cooling capacity and temps.

Are you buying or building? I dont know of any commercial SS units that are less than 1/4hp and certainly not 12v rotaries with 500 watt capacity.

You also should combine your threads into just 1 thread for all of your questions: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?288187-searching-for-1-2hp-small-rotary-HELP
