going there this Oct 10-15 only, and were lost as far as where to stay the most (no car rental)?
what tour group to go with? what places to see?
limitations:
budget, no winery places, no major hiking, ziplining, scuba diving/snorkling (did I say October?)
we would like to stay in a Bed and Breakfast to get some local tips (plus cost is under $100/night)
no kids/pets/inlaw :D
my wife always pulls this annoying thing when we travel: she looks for Asian Food places.
we were in Sydney and out of nowhere she started craving for anything Asian Food.
So, I'm looking for anything Asian food place, just in case she starts looking for it.
in searching for a BnB I've come across this site: AirBnB found it to be interesting and maybe helpful (https://www.airbnb.com/s/victoria--b...&price_max=200)...anyone have tried this route?
Hopefully, I could plenty of pictures, since its been a while since I shared any pictures

vancouver is a horrid place have fun with tons of homeless people and lots of public drug use, victoria is pretty fun and nice as its very touristy, wax museum is pretty neat
and as for the asian food, im pretty sure thats all that vancouver has, i went there looking for NON asian food and found one place.. asian resturaunts and markets in vancouver bc are like starbucks in downtown seattle, you cant walk one block without seeing at least one..

Thanks for the assurance
finally had the realization that 5 days is not enough, so we will dedicate our time between Whistler and Victoria. Just trying to read up more on where to stay and what travel company to go with.
if you can recommend one or two, would greatly appreciate it.

the only thing we're finding a good deal was thru Expedia packages
Deluxe Vancouver package as stated
takes you to Canada Place, Robson Street, the Public Library, QE Theatre and GM Place, Chinatown, and Gastown. Soak in the natural splendor of Prospect Point and Stanley Park's Totem Poles. Drive past the West End high-rises and the beaches of English Bay on the way to the vibrant Granville Island with a public market, shops, restaurants, and galleries. Then it up the glass elevator to the top of Harbour Tower for spectacular 360? views of the city and its surrounding area. @$143.22/2-person
and a Whistler and Shannon Falls
Enjoy breathtaking views and scenic stops along the thrilling sea-to-sky highway. Feel the mist of the spectacular 1,100-foot (335-meter) Shannon Falls. Enjoy free time to explore the restaurants and shops, ride a bike, or stroll the trails. Take a ride on a gondola to the peak of Whistler Mountain (available seasonally). Savor the beautiful views overlooking Howe Sound on the leisurely ride home. @$261/ 2-person
hopefully this will cover most areas with our limited time.
if anyone has a better package deal you've heard of, would greatly appreciate if you could chime in.
still searching a time to include whale watching if possible
UPDATE
We're considering the Whale Watching instead
The waters off the Vancouver coast burst with leaping orcas and bounding porpoises. Discover the majestic sea life of the Pacific Northwest as you cruise in comfort aboard a boat that is specially designed to maximize your chance of seeing a whale, while also shielding you from the elements.
In addition to the orcas and porpoises, you may also encounter seals, sea lions, bald eagles, and (if you are lucky) Minke whales. Whale sighting chances are 85%, but don’t fret if you do not spot any because your next whale watching trip will be complimentary (a nominal fee is charged to cover transportation). Set sail for a day of adventure and excitement on the azure waters of the Pacific Ocean.
@ $169/ each
BTW: ATTENTION Canadians
Is Oct 14 Thanksgiving Holiday? Meaning is there no buses or other services affected by this?

Peak2Peak. yup went up there. my wife, never been on a ski lift. I have back in the 80's, so of course, I was nervous since I have fear of heights. but when we got up there, and saw the new lifts, its enclosed, and the mountain biker's last ride of the season, we went up there and super-glad we did! it was beautiful all the way thru.
