After digging around on forums trying to find a solution, I finally came across XS and quickly realized this is not the average forum.

So I have a Fujitsu SAS Raid 5/6 LSI controller as shipped with a Primergy TX-200 S5. I have installed some NetApp OEM'd as Seagate ST3600057SS. I have flashed these to Seagate firmware with no issues. My problem is with creating a RAID+1 config the controller disables the drives and marks them bad each time it attempts to initialize them. So i assume my problem is with them being an un-certified disk per Fujitsu LDDB (whatever its called).

So how can I determine the LSI chipset/model and/or change the un-certified attribute to allow?
Also I may need to validate that this is indeed the problem as I have not witnessed any error messages. I'm simply going off experience in uncharted territory.

Changed firmware but still fails when initializing drives. Drives have been re-flashed from NetApp are are OEM ST3600057SS running Seagate firmware 008
I assume they are being blocked by the controller due to "Un-Certified Hard Disk Drives : Block" setting. Is their a way to change this setting or the accepted drives?

It's possible that one or both of the drives I'm trying are bad, will attempt to isolate possible bad drive with several others in my spare.
