So here I am at work and a co-worker talks to me about bitcoins because he read an article about them. I laugh remembering BTC was dead, talking about how I used to mine them, was able to pay off my video cards I purchased to mine them and even make a few hundred bucks before the big crash several years ago. Then he tells me the current price :eek:

I am wondering if my old HD5000's would even be worth bringing out of retirement for this. I assume not from a power cost, but I am gonna do the math. Anyone else still mining and using HD5000s? I have 2x5870s, 2x5850 and 2x5830s I am pretty sure.
