A bit faster than z77 on bandwidth, but not as cool as Areca :p:

That 4K write is pretty impressive at QD1, and the write acc time too :)

Putting it mildly imo...lol

I'm sure it makes for stellar responsiveness.

Less is more :)

3R0 Samsung 840 Pro 256GB, performs more or less just like 4 drives.

From a storage point of view it's nice, there are other aspects that aren't :)

I wanted the Maximus VI due to it's "bios" integrated secure erase, it wasn't available when I ordered, I might be getting one anyways.

It won't be replacing my X79 :), this (Haswell) is just for keeping up with current tech...

I agree, I just use a low powered rig for everyday use lately anyway, my 3930K is only for heavy lifting. I have so many rigs running in my small office that when I get testing it gets HOT even with a new AC unit for the house (that has one ton extra cooling capacity). So a 3570 is what I use for browsing and writing, etc.

A friend of mine is saying that with a 4R0 that the CPU is going very high with 4K testing, and that having a number of drives in R0 is creating a lower OC ceiling...he cant hit very high with the clocks with R0. Are you guys experiencing any of the same?
