View Full Version : 2.3v through 0312 DUT3C JUIHB?
Got an Albatron KX18 Pro for a folder @ newegg for 61 bucks, and my lil JUIHB going to run in it. Anyways , i got pretty good aircooling, showing @2ghz 1.9v 31c idle. Think i can run 2.3v through it and expect it to last a while? (month or forever!)
I got pretty big Coolmaster copper heatsink with adapter to fit 80mm fan but i gottsa 80mm tornado on it. So 2.3? what ya say?:confused:

Well, if you want to fry your daily breakfast-egg on it, then go ahead and give this little CPU 2.3V VCore! :cord: :lol:
But, if you really plan to use it for a longer time than just a few days, then keep it below 2V if you don't have a really top-notch aircooler like a Thermalright SLK947-U or a Swiftech MCX462. It's very hard to manage as VCore above 2V with just aircooling, although it also depends on the CPU used.

Same here, even on Water I would probably not go over 2.0 for 24/7, I would probably end up running @ a more comfortable 1.9 or so...
lol i ran this CPU at 2.2v for a few months, but the CPU didnt fry the board did lol! :smileysex

Not saying they can't take it, just what I'm comfortable with, Thing may go on forever at that voltage, or it may crap out tomorrow.

Why is it only doing 2ghz with 1.9 vcore?
cuz it wont do anymore, well it does 2.2ghz at 1.9v max, not a good one :(

xps dont care about volts at all, just keep the temp below 50°C and its all good :)
great i just go my board, and it only allows to 1.9v, the ProII (same thing i thought with just SATA and stuff) goes to 2.65v. I got the latest bios and everything. great probly wont even be able to do 2.2ghz now:upset:
