We have a SNES and love it. On April 2nd 2013 South Australia switched to digital TV. We have an old fashion TV and a HD box. Can we still use the SNES with this setup? Many thanks.

you can just use RCA for the SNES, i dont see where the problem would be.

Yes my TV has the 3 coloured cords but not sure the SNES Console does. If I remember correctly it has a hole for one cord, a larger square hole and the 2 holes for the joy pads.
Are USA and Australian SNES different? As I do know their games are different. Thanks for the reply zanzabar.

the cables with the jap, NTSC, and PAL use the same connectors just different cart slots. i would guess you ether got it second hand, or they ripped you guys off down there.

you need this

it works on everything up to the wii so you should not have a problem finding one. they also come in S-video that i think works with the SNES (mine does) but the component cable (5 rca connectors) does not.
