I've had my system up and running to include water loop for almost a year now. It's time for a few select changes to the loop and time to change the water. I've been using distilled water with kill coil and UV orange tubing. I'm looking to add color coolant to my system and was looking at Mayhem Pastel coolants. My dilemma is what color to go with. From what I've seen, the pastels are not UV reactive so I may have to stick with UV tubing to get the glow but what color liquid to add that may work with my color scheme and make my loop pop. My tubing is orange as are all my led lights. I added a link to a pic of my current setup. I wasn't sure whether going with the Gigabit Orange would be too much orange or whether to go in a different direction. I also looked at Pastel Ice White and Pure Black as possibilities. Suggestions would be appreciated.

After reading about color additives causing problems?

Distilled water and a biocide. Mahems has disclaimers. it's for pretty systems, not long term usage. You can read about it here, search for mayhem in the posts.

Well if you are willing to go every year through loop cleaning than go ahead. For me functionality wins over aesthetics.

I think white would look good..or course. It will be plenty functional for a long time. We have a computer that's been running Ice Dragon for almost 4 years without any problems.

Have you thought about alternatives to coloring the liquid? They make colored tubing, as well as uv-reactive tubing. I opted for sleeves, which I think can look even cooler!

Here are some (low quality) pics of my setup
