Has anyone has any experience with the IBM ServeRAID M5014 256MB SATA/SAS Contoller Card? From the following guide it can be flash with LSI 9260-8i Firmware because basically it is the same card but with less RAM 256MB vs 512MB.
I am planning to buy this for my Multipurpose Webserver, but want to know if any one has used it with consumer motherboard? The card can be found $120 shipping on the web or ebay.
