Alright, I'm getting close to finishing my build and need a little help.

Q1 (fittings): I need 1 90 degree fitting that will go on the return of my res, and I cant figure out what to get...Should I get a normal 90 fitting like this (http://koolance.com/nozzle-single-black-swivel-angled-barb-for-id-13mm-1-2in) or get something like this (http://koolance.com/nozzle-coupling-adapter-swiveling-male-male) and a t block like this (http://koolance.com/nozzle-body-4-way-brass) or this (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/15165/ex-tub-1158/Alphacool_180_T_Block_-_Deep_Black.html) and use the barb I already have? (kind of dependent on the next question) Also, any opinions on Phobya fittings?

Q2 (silver):I use PT_Nuke -PHN (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/peptpcobi1.html) (the clear stuff "Active Ingredient: Benzalkonium chloride 1.65%") will adding silver react badly? If not, I want to get the Monsoon .999 Fine Silver Bullet (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/15814/ex-tub-1255/Monsoon_999_Fine_Silver_Bullet_Antimicrobial_G_14_ Plug_-_Black_MON-PLUG-AG-BLK.html) and put it on the the t block (from Q1)

Q3 (Rad): I would like to add a rad to the loop to quiet it down a little/future proof for when I add a VGA block to the loop. I have a XSPC RS240 now and I have a choice for fitting another rad. I can either fit a 280(2x140mm) in the top of my case with push only fans (I would have the RS240 on the bottom in push pull config), or I can put a 360(3x120mm) rad in the front with push pull config, and have the RS240(2x120mm) up top in push only config. will the 280 or the 360 give me more cooling power? (using 1000-1200RPM fans)

Q4 (tubing): I have been using Primoflex pro LTR 7/16" x 5/8" tubing, but the stuff I used for about a year and a half seems to have leeched a lot of plasticizer in the loop. So I think I want to try a different brand this time. I cant decide what to get black (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=35086) or yellow (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=30303) Masterkleer or clear Durelene PVC tubing (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/dupvctu7id5o.html) with a dye... I have never put dies in my loop. I have just bought colored tubing to satisfy my aesthetic needs. I have been a little nervous about dies, how ever a lot of people do it so I cant imagine it's as bad as I have built it up in my head to be. (if I went with a dye(likely Mayhems), would my biocide/silver have a bad reaction to it?)

for reference, my case currently(unfinished) with black tubing and missing the tube res with yellow ZenCoil (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/17813/ex-tub-1591/PrimoChill_ZenCoils_Tube_Res_Calming_Coils_-_Yellow_PCC-56-Y.html) that will be mounted on the back 140mm above the vid card.) color theme is black/white with hints of yellow/gold(gold caps and lettering on mobo, and yellow ZenCoil in tube res)

1. I wouldn't get a T adapter personally. Any rotary 90 degree adapter or fitting would do you fine. Everyone has their preferred brand because rotaries are more likely to leak than normal fittings. To avoid this just makes sure there's not much lateral torque straining the internal o-ring. I've had success with BP and Monsoon but I haven't used many brands.

2. Don't know, but if you have biocide why do you need silver anyway?

3. Frontal surface area of the radiator is the primary factor in cooling. 360mmx120mm > 280x140mm so the 360 would do you better particularly given that you're running it push/pull rather than just push on the 280.

4. The last year's worth of Pro LRT did seem to have a lot of leech. There is now the Advanced LRT which doesn't have DEHP in it which mayhem's claim is actually responsible for much of what people think is plasticizer leech. I know next to nothing about this, however if you are using Mayhems products I would make sure to use approved tubing and approved biocides and all that jazz because you do not want to have an issue. From what I remember they have their own biocide which is similar to the copper sulfate types and they only recommend a couple of brands of tubings of which the latest is the Advanced LRT. Pro LRT had issues being compatible with Mayhems pastel. They have a faq thread over at overclock.net. Just a note on dyes - I would never recommend them unless you are ok with the possibilities of staining, gunking and all that jazz. Mayhems will tell you there are no problems with their products but we've seen people have problems whether it's their own fault for not using approved compatible products or not. For some people the risk is worth it, for others not so much.

Only comment is on #2. You only need one biocide. If you combine two you take a risk that they may interact and become less effective - like can happen with antibiotics in humans. Each loop can be it's own chemistry experiment and weird stuff happens (like cloudy tubing, etc). To keep the loop biochemistry less mysterious, my advice is use only one biocide properly to minimize risk for chemical interactions.

Btw, I have used silver only for almost 3 years (with regular maintenance) and no infection. Bought but never opened the PT Nuke PHN. Never used the Monsoon product but the description at FrozenCPU seems thorough. Might make you drain your loop at 6 months to look at it so can be part of the maintenance. Box Gods is on XS water forum and there is a thread here where he introduced it if you wanted to ask details about the Monsoon product. Good luck. :)

Thanks for the replies.

After reading them and going over it in my head, I decided to give the PrimoFlex Advanced LRT (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/17897/ex-tub-1629/PrimoChill_PrimoFlex_Advanced_LRT_Tubing_716ID_x_5 8_OD_-_10ft_Retail_Pack_-_Elegant_White_PFLEXA10-758-W_w_Free_Sys_Prep.html) a try. I also bought an XSPC EX360 (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14328/ex-rad-316/XSPC_EX360_Triple_120mm_Low_Profile_Split_Fin_Radi ator.html) and some BitFenix Spectre Pro 120mm (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/15548/fan-973/BitFenix_Spectre_Pro_120mm_Fan_-_All_White_BFF-SPRO-12025WW-RP.html) fan's. I'm going to just do push on the rad's for now since it's a CPU only loop.(and to save a little money, lol) I got the koolance 90 barb (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13097/koo-287/Koolance_G14_Swivel_90_Angled_Barb_w_Clamp_13mm_12 _ID_-_Single_-_Black_NZL-L13B-BK.html). there shouldn't be any strain on the fitting it will be about a 3" piece of tubing going straight from the CPU to the res. I think I'll stay with the PHN for now and just remind my self to do maintenance more often inside the loop.(learned my lesson;))
