I share my Dell U3011 with two high end PC's, mostly just one at a time but occasionally switching back and forth from the LCD controls.
What I'd like would be able to use the monitors four USB ports on both PC's, there is only one USB port cable to PC connection on the LCD.
I could obtain another cable and plug the required one in to the monitor that would be easier than unplugging the existing one from one PC to the other due to my cable routing, but I was hoping for a small switch that could do this if possible, I know regular USB switches exist, but the connection to the LCD is sort of square shaped, if you have a Dell LCD with USB ports you will know what I mean.
If the USB from Monitor to PC was lower and easier accessible I'd just go with unplugging a separate cable for each PC, but its kinda awkward to reach with my setup.
Any idea's?
