Having parts powdercoated is ok. Just make sure to post updates in your thread on this forum. :)

Newegg, FCPU and P-PCs all have it...search for PC-7HX (the version that has the inside black anodized).

Thanks Waterlogged for beating me to it. Newegg fixed the search keywords, so now if you type in "PC-7H" into the search bar you will be directed to the case.

Also, in the future Lian Li will release versions of the PC-7H in silver and exterior black.

When I look at the original post the first line says Please do refer to the "Lian Li" ...where Lian Li is hyperlinked and takes me to that site. Maybe it's a fluke idunno.

You can just make a new thread in the forum (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?315-Lian-Li-Product-Support). So that it is easy to notice please write [Case Mod] and the name of your PC-7H Mod in the title.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Is it open to EU modders ? If you would be so kind to point out where to buy such a case here in Europe... I look in some big online retailers and I was unable to find it.

Yes, the contest is worldwide so EU modders can enter. Techincally, Lian Li does not have a distributor in Portugal, but you can get here: http://www.hardwareshop.es/en/shop/computing/pc-tower-cases/midi-tower/lian-li-pc-7hx-bk-detail

Thank you for the answer. Well I the majority of the goodies can't be found here ( in Portugal ) and the ones you can sometimes come pretty expensive. So I'm used to buy EU wide (we don't pay extra taxes to do so), and since shipping is inexpensive usually <10€ that's ok. Thank for telling me where to buy the case !

The last updates for the Lian Li Modding PC-7H modding need to be finished by this Friday Jan. 18th. Also, make sure to send an email with at least 5 pictures of your finished mod and a link to your thread to 7hmod@mail.lian-li.com.

The mods will be posted on the "Lian Li HQ" facebook page on Jan. 25th at which time the voting will commence.

Just wanted everyone to know, that the participants that completed their mod in time (which is almost all) will all be going to the next round of the modding contest. A photo of your mod will be posted on a special page Lian Li HQ (https://www.facebook.com/LianLiHQ) Facebook on Jan 25th on which the voting will commence.

The voting will continue until Jan. 31 (23:59 US Central Time Zone). After that time we will announce the top 3 winners. (See the prizes here (http://lian-li.com/7hmod/))
