Well my Lian Li PC-75 came today, needless to say I'm speechless.

The quality of the finish, the perfect placement of all bays inside the case. The perfect finish, the LIGHTNESS of the case.

Oh man, when I first looked at it I couldn't speak for a few minutes. I guess this is what they call "love at first sight" ;)

Yup they are pretty nice

It's got sooo much room.

The only fault I could find with them is the lack of a removeable mobo tray. That would make them perfect.

Welcom to club Lian-Li PC75! All bedrooms are ensuite :D

Here's mine with a DFI board fitted, I've got some more lighting on the way for it. Post a pic of yours once it's built.

anyone ever thought of modding for 2 back fans and side + top 120 mm fans on the LIAN LI? If I ever do buy a LIAN LI, I want to keep my 3.6 ghz overclock.

If I can find a case besides my RAIDMAXX that has just as much mod room without being 3 feet tall, email me. Seriously.

Mine has 2 80mm exhaust fans as standard, there's another 2 points for 80mm fans at the back above the PSU (this area can also be used for a second PSU for powering pumps or whatever).

I'm going to install a 120mm fan in the side window - just waiting on a hole saw. I don't want to install a blow hole on the top because I will most likely fit liquid cooling at some point. When I do this I will be looking at 3x 120mm fans in the top with a rad below them.

How are you achieving 3.6Ghz? That's some OC.

The Lian-Li PC75 is just short of 2ft tall and there is bags of room for mods. These cases are proving very popular for liquid colling setups.

I ordered some Blue led 80mm fans for my lian li case.

Also picked up Logitech Z-5300 THX Certified 5.1 speakers ($150) along with SB Audigy 2 ZS, so my rig is silver case, black monitor, silver/black combo keyboard/mouse and silver/black speakers.

Once I put in the watercooling + 2 uv black lights + 1 uv blue cathode + 2 blue led 80mm fans in front, it'll be one kicking case :toast:

I've got some UV black light on the go with mine now. Nice choice on the sound card - I've just fitted the same card and it's the dogs bollocks.

Personally, I want a small case I can take all over the place.. My RAIDMAXX goes with me whenever I go to Tahoe for Skiing n the like.

LL 75 looks nice I'll admit, but its simply too big to be beautiful in my book.

3.6 GHZ? I have 2 blowholes, 9 80 MMfans, 2 60MM fans, and an air duct that blows air onto the cpu and sucks air off the video card instead of going to the processor. I also have a giant Swiftec heatsink for the northbridge... it still gets quite warm.

I can run prime95 for about an hour and a half with lowest fan speeds, which is safe enough for internet searching.. but thats about it.
With highest, It has run for about 3 days. :D

Temps stay between 37 - 60 low power, and 29 - 50 highest power.

My PSU is screwed over though, I could probably push 3.7 GHZ if it wouldnt falter so much. 11.5 12 V line on load..

Heres a pic
http://128.32.250.15:8080/mousersmods/picture$50

This is before the extra fan duct and it has the unmodded 9800xt in it.

Thats BH5 ram, of course.. 2225 timings @ 240, 2.8 Volts

I'm going to guess that is a saying not heard very often in the USA, but am guessing he means its like "the bees knees" or "the cats meow", then you know... rovers nutz. :p: Good stuff.

I remember the old Sex Pistols alblum named after an ingnored pair...guess it's and English or Aussie expression?

yea the PC65 has a litle lack of airflow if you want to keep it silent to, Im running a bit hot atm, but still stable, dont thinkIm going to mod my brand new case right away.. :bsod: But maybe with time. :)

Dont understand why Lian Li didnt put two fans in the back when theres space for it

Most PC6x have horrible airflow in stock form, especially the ones with the solid front case. I put in two 80mm fans intake in my 6078 side panel which makes for a good OC setup (it already comes with a top exhaust). I was considering adding a second rear exhaust, but airflow balance was actually pretty good in this form.

That's right! It's like saying 'the bee's knees'. It's a British expression.

Funny you should mention the Sex Pistols. Johny Rotten was on a reality TV program in the UK about a week ago. He did the smart thing and walked out well before the public voted him out and he was the favourite to win. I think he lives in LA now.

Ubermouser - which CPU do you have there?

what kind of room for radiators is there in the PC-75 ? above the psu, or below the drive bays, how big of a rad can fit ?

Ubermouser

you could fit a flipping football in the pc75 and still have enough room for.. 2 more footballs. atleast.

Its HUGE.. nearly 8 inches of space above the psu, and more drive space than you will ever know how to deal with.
