SSD controllers have become strong/resilient.. is it still recommended to NOT use SSDs in an OS that doesn't do TRIM?
I want to put a SSD a server of mine, it runs Windows Server 2008 (x86) - which is Vista based. Vista doesn't have TRIM, so neither does WS08. :shakes:
Or is there any other software solution to getting the TRIM command passed along periodically & automatically?
I've made up my mind that if I do put in a SSD into the server, it'll be from Intel, seeing as how reliable they are!
